Todd Gordon
Todd Gordon is one of Scotland's most renowned performers and brings the voice of 1950's Frank Sinatra
to audiences throughout Scotland and the UK. Based in Edinburgh, but also regularly performing at many
of the most prestigious venues in the UK such as London's
Pizza on the Park, and as far away as The Plaza and Algonquin hotels in New
York, Todd's influences include the world's greatest singers of his discipline: Frank Sinatra, Carmen
McRae, Peggy Lee, Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, Blossom Dearie and Bobby Darin.
Todd's audiences range from intimate jazz club settings to the 20,000 strong
audience of 'Jazz on a Summers Day' at which he recently compared. He also opened
for Dionne Warwick during her UK visit last year at which the video clips
below were filmed. His band can range from a simple quartet through to full
10-piece lineups. The quartet featured in the video clip below includes the
excellent David Patrick (piano), Ricky Steele (bass) and Andrew Bain (drums).
If you're looking for the sound of Ol'Blue Eyes for your wedding, corporate event or party in 2004,
Todd Gordon cannot be bettered.
