Tanja Maritsa
A unique and beautiful voice, Tanja Maritsa's sultry tones are a welcome
change to vocal led jazz in London and the UK. As a performer and songwriter,
Tanja's influences are drawn from both jazz singers such as Ella Fitzgerald
and pop recording artists such as Annie Lennox, Elizabeth Fraser and Alison
Moyet.
Currently working with talented guitarist Jo Caleb (as heard on the MP3 clips
below), Tanja is a well recognised musician on the London scene and has also
toured in New York. Her vocal/guitar duo covers a wide range of pop and jazz
standards from Sting to Duke Ellington.
Tanja is currently recording an album with producer/presenter Richard Niles.
